GDPR · contact verification

    Verify contacts the positive way.

Every contact can carry a consent record, an audit trail and a "verified" badge — proof the details are current and consented. No blacklists. No "scam" flags. Reassurance, never accusation.

    Three things on every contact

    A consent record

Purpose, lawful basis and timestamp — the written answer to "why do you hold this?", captured without friction.

    An audit trail

Who changed what, when, and on what basis. If a request or an audit ever lands, the evidence is already there.

    A verified badge

Shown only when the person has confirmed their own details. Positive-only — its absence is the only negative signal.

    How verification works

    1

    Invite

The contact gets a private link to their own portal, secured by a one-time code.

    2

    Confirm

They check or correct their details and set their preferences — in seconds.

    3

    Verified

A consent record is stamped and a "verified" badge appears for teams that hold them.

    4

    Stays honest

If it lapses, the badge quietly drops — never a flag, never a deletion.

    Why positive-only

Trust you can give, not a judgement you impose.

Negative labels get things wrong and hurt real people. So we don't do them. A verified badge says "these details are current and consented" — and nothing else. It's the fairest signal for the person, and the most defensible one for you.

    Questions

    What does 'verified' actually mean?
It means the person the contact is about has confirmed their own details through a secure, code-protected portal, and there's a consent record and timestamp to show it. Verification is about the data being current and consented — nothing more.
Do you flag bad or 'scam' contacts?
No. Verification is positive-only. A badge reassures; the absence of a badge is the only negative signal. We don't run blacklists, risk scores or 'scam' flags — reassurance, never accusation.
What happens when a verification lapses?
If details go unconfirmed for a while, the contact simply drops back to unverified. Nothing is deleted and no one is flagged — it just tells you it's worth a fresh confirmation.
    Is this enough for GDPR?
It gives you the evidence GDPR expects: a lawful basis, a purpose, a consent record and an audit trail on every contact, plus a self-service way for people to exercise their rights. Combined with our security controls, it makes compliance the default rather than a scramble.
